Hello, I am Colleen Richardson, CEO and Certified Tax Professional. As stated above I have been preparing taxes for over 11 years. I started out as a referral agent for a company that will remain nameless and the preparer stated that I was referring so many clients that I need to start preparing and have them as my clients, so that's what I did and have been doing ever since. When I first started, I was unsure if it was something that I would want to do but I knew that I loved helping others and as I began to learn and process my first returns, I grew to love it without even knowing it!! Yes, sometimes we as tax preparers get tired, frustrated, aggravated and more but the end result to see that client with that new car, new house, vacation, or whatever they choose to use their refund for and have the ability to do it because we were able to help them get that extra cash that was already theirs, MAKES IT ALL WORTH WHILE!!!
